Responsible Mining

We prioritise enhancing our local community's social, economic, and environmental welfare by promoting sustainable practices. Our efforts include mitigating environmental degradation, fostering a safe environment for humans, animals, and plants, and restoring mined areas during our operations.

ZAC is dedicated to preserving ecosystems around our operations. We adhere to relevant environmental regulations and have established comprehensive policies and initiatives to address environmental impacts.

In addition to our in-house environmental team, we work with independent consultants to advise us on waste management, dust suppression, and overall pollution control.

In accordance with the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), ZAC implements Environmental Management Programmes (EMPs) overseen by environmental scientists and officers to ensure compliance.
