ZAC has an enduring connection with local communities surrounding its mine. Our mission is to positively impact the lives of those in the areas where we operate. This encompasses hiring local talent, integrating local goods and services into our operations, and contributing toward economic growth.
Throughout the years, ZAC has driven programmes to assist through water & sanitation projects, refurbishment of school buildings and provision of essential educational tools and resources. ZAC has spearheaded numerous community and social programs, focusing on local economic empowerment, education, enterprise development, and corporate social investments in the Mandlakazi, Matheni, Mlaba, and Zungu communities.
