The commercial goat project will be registered as a co-op run by the Zungu community

Goat Project
The development of the R1.5 million Zungu Community Goats project is currently underway. The aim of the project is to create a sustainable source of income for the community looking at the growing demand for goat meat and milk locally and abroad.
The initiative includes 120 goats (100 ewes and 20 rams) a fence, a goat swimming pool, shade cloth and boreholes. It will be registered as a co-op run by the Zungu community. The fencing of the project was undertaken by local contractor Gretta’s Construction.
